Since my hands likes to go spastic *only* when I’m holding something important, its no surprise that I actually dropped my digital camera ages ago, and went to buy a replacement. I don’t even recall its name but just something I bought along with my previous computer eons ago. I was hunting for what I had in mind, which was:

With a shock/weight-proof that is not too heavy. This was extremely important. Either Olympus or Canon. A company specialized in cameras, not ones that does “all sorts” of electronics. Somewhere between 30,000~40,000 yen. It doesn’t have to be the latest model.

Quality is not bad for the price, and thank god I don’t have to take photos using that cell phone anymore.

• Waterproof to a depth of 10 metres, shockproof against falls from as high as 2 metres, and freezeproof at temperatures as low as -10°C, and the weight-resistance up to 100kg. Kinda heavy, but can be accustomed to. | ★★★★½
